A search found two Ukrainian outlets, Ukrainska Pravda (English) and Censor.NET, both dated 21 September 2026. Both report that Ukraine's General Staff announced a strike on a Kasta-2E2 (39N6) radar near Pikuz in occupied Donetsk Oblast. The General Staff put the radar's estimated cost at $60 million or more. Both also report a strike on a drone ground control point in the Dniproenerhiia area. Ukrainska Pravda's headline says this was the second such strike in a month. I found no independent confirmation, such as satellite imagery or a Russian response, and no Reuters, AFP, Bellingcat or EUvsDisinfo fact-check on the claim.
