Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces said they struck 29 energy facilities in temporarily occupied territories over the course of a single day, and reported 240 such facilities successfully targeted between 1 July and 13 August. The claims were published by Ukrainian military channels and have not been independently verified. The reported strikes reflect a deliberate Ukrainian effort to degrade the power supply that supports Russian military logistics, command posts and industry in occupied areas. Attacks on energy infrastructure in occupied regions also carry consequences for the civilian population living under Russian control, and Russian-installed authorities have periodically reported outages following Ukrainian drone activity.
