Knoxville city leaders launched a series of public discussions to gather input from property owners about recurring flash flooding issues. The sessions, hosted by the city's Stormwater Engineering Division, follow a $4.3 million stormwater system infrastructure inventory aimed at identifying problem areas and potential fixes. Four such community discussions are planned in total, giving residents a chance to raise concerns directly with officials as the city works on longer-term flood mitigation planning.
