Lebanese media further reported that Israeli forces dropped flare bombs over the Aita al-Jabal forest in the Bint Jbeil district, sparking wildfires, while a separate Israeli strike caused a 'massive explosion' in the town of Houla in the Marjeyoun district. The escalation came as a US State Department spokesperson reiterated that Hezbollah must disarm for Lebanon to achieve stability.
