Amnesty International called for the release of Palestinian pediatrician Hussam Abu Safiya, director of Gaza's Kamal Adwan Hospital, who has now spent 600 days in Israeli detention without charge or trial. Abu Safiya was abducted by Israeli forces on 27 December 2024 after gaining international prominence for his work treating patients during the war.
