Lebanon's Foreign Ministry said it welcomes signals from Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi that Tehran wants to strengthen relations between the two governments, following a meeting in Tehran on Saturday between Araghchi and Sheikh Ali al-Khatib, deputy head of Lebanon's Supreme Shia Council. Lebanese officials stated they have always sought good relations with all countries, including Iran.
