The National Weather Service in Morristown issued a Heat Advisory beginning the night of September 2 and extending through September 4, with WBIR meteorologists warning the dangerous heat could impact outdoor activities through Saturday. Forecasters expect the advisory to remain in effect Thursday and Friday, with scattered thundershowers possible Saturday as a frontal boundary moves through, bringing relief with cooler conditions expected Sunday into Labor Day.
