Ukrainian drone attacks killed two people in Belgorod and damaged apartments and an industrial plant outside Moscow in an overnight barrage. Moscow's mayor said nearly 9,000 Ukrainian drones targeted the capital in August alone, with air defenses claiming to intercept the vast majority. The same overnight wave also disrupted Sochi's airport for more than 11 hours, with over 100 flights delayed, canceled, or diverted to other cities after a drone attack set two fuel depots ablaze, one located roughly 100 meters from the airport grounds; plane refueling was restricted and thick black smoke blanketed the city.
