Tropical Cyclone Kiyapo (international name Noul) intensified from a tropical storm into a typhoon as it moved near extreme northern Luzon in late July 2026, prompting Pagasa to raise wind signals over parts of Northern Luzon. The system later exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility while Wind Signal No. 1 remained hoisted in affected areas.
