Ukraine's General Staff said its defence forces struck the Ryazan oil refinery, the Rostov-on-Don airfield, and Russian air defence assets overnight in a coordinated series of long-range strikes on Russian territory. The attacks form part of Ukraine's continuing campaign against Russian military infrastructure and energy facilities deep behind the front line. The strikes come amid a broader pattern of Ukrainian drone and missile attacks on Russian refineries, airfields and logistics targets, which Russian and some Western officials have linked to disruptions in regional fuel supplies and aviation. Russian authorities have not yet detailed the extent of damage from the latest strikes.
