Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani criticized both Iran and Israel while addressing the Arab League Council of Foreign Ministers meeting, according to Syria's state news agency SANA. Shaibani said Damascus rejects the use of Arab territory by Iran to settle disputes or as a platform for attacks against other states. He added that Syria supports dialogue and closer security and economic cooperation with neighboring Arab states, signaling Damascus's effort to position itself as a stabilizing regional actor amid ongoing tensions linked to the Gaza and Lebanon conflicts.
