The Palestinian Authority submitted US entry visa applications for President Mahmoud Abbas and other officials, testing a reported Trump administration plan to again bar Abbas from attending the UN General Assembly in New York. A Palestinian official said Ramallah was told the applications would still be adjudicated despite the expected ban, following earlier reporting that Washington intends to repeat last year's exclusion.
