The International Atomic Energy Agency revealed that a secret Syrian nuclear reactor bombed by Israel in 2007 under the Assad regime was almost complete and would have been 'very efficient' at producing weapons-grade material. The IAEA chief said a related reactor fuel manufacturing plant had also been discovered, shedding new light on a covert program that Israeli intelligence had targeted nearly two decades ago.
