Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) said it detained a 21-year-old Moldovan citizen, Nicolae Kochu, in the Astrakhan region on suspicion of attempting to murder a Russian serviceman in the Saratov region. Ukraine has accused the targeted general of ordering the missile strike on Okhmatdyt children's hospital. The arrest came days after pro-Kremlin media reported that the officer, identified as Major General Nikolai Varpakhovich, was shot and wounded in the Saratov region, adding a name and further detail to the earlier account of the incident.
