Ukrainska Pravda reported that the total international financing Ukraine has received from its partners since Russia's full-scale invasion began on 24 February 2022 has reached roughly $200 billion, an amount equivalent to the country's entire 2021 pre-war GDP. The funds have supported both civilian government spending and, increasingly, weapons purchases. Despite the scale of the assistance, the report noted that even this level of support falls short of covering Ukraine's mounting wartime needs, highlighting the country's continued heavy dependence on external funding as the war drags into its fifth year.
