Former Moscow municipal deputy Alexey Gorinov, appearing by video link from a penal colony in Altai Krai, told Moscow City Court that he may have been poisoned, according to the Telegram channel SotaVision. The court was considering an appeal against prosecutors' refusal to reopen the criminal case against him. The court ultimately upheld the refusal to reopen Gorinov's case, leaving him without recourse through that avenue. Gorinov has become one of the best-known Russian political prisoners jailed for opposing the war in Ukraine.
