Apple's September event, streamed live, unveiled the company's first foldable device, the iPhone Duo, alongside the standard iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models. The Duo features a custom nano-texture display designed to minimize the crease visible on competing foldables from Samsung and Google, though it is far from the first foldable phone on the market and revives a product name Apple has used before. Additional announcements included active noise cancellation coming to the entry-level AirPods 5 for the first time, a new Siri Recap feature for the Apple Watch Series 12 and Watch Ultra, and the return of a black color option for the iPhone Pro lineup after its absence from last year's iPhone 17 Pro colorway lineup. Notably absent were AirPods with built-in cameras, a rumored feature that did not materialize at this event.
