Nintendo's version 23.0.0 update for the Switch 2 has added a small but notable nostalgia touch to the console's menus, which have otherwise been criticized for their lack of ambiance. The update brings back the classic Wii-era Mii Channel music whenever players create a Mii through the Switch 2's system settings. A new music settings option also lets players swap the background track for the 3DS version of the Mii Maker theme, giving users a choice between two classic tunes as Nintendo continues to refine the Switch 2's software experience.
