AI music startup Suno released its v6 model, its first built with cooperation from the music industry, using licensed content from Warner Music Group, BMG, and Believe alongside user data. The company says the model was trained from scratch on a new dataset that excludes material used in earlier, legally contested versions, though it remains unclear whether all questionable training data has been eliminated.
