Russia launched 149 drones, including jet-powered Shahed variants, against Ukraine overnight on September 9-10, with Ukrainian air defences destroying or jamming 128 of them. Strikes hit residential areas of Kryvyi Rih, leaving two people in surgery and damaging a Suspilne studio, while drones also struck three districts and caused new power outages in Chernihiv, Donetsk and Kharkiv oblasts. Ukrenergo reported that repair crews were already working to restore power in the affected regions. The barrage adds to a pattern of near-nightly Russian drone and missile attacks targeting Ukrainian cities and energy infrastructure.
