Isao Harimoto, a Japanese professional baseball star and survivor of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, has died at age 86. Harimoto set a career hits record of 3,085 that still stands in Japanese baseball history. He was inducted into the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame in 1990, cementing his legacy as one of the sport's most accomplished players in Japan.
