Russian forces struck two gas stations in Kyiv on September 11, one in the Dniprovskyi district and one in the Obolonskyi district that was hit twice, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said. Several people were killed and injured in the attacks, including a rescue worker. Klitschko later said a Russian jet-powered drone attack on a petrol station in the city killed two people and injured eight others, adding to the toll from the morning strikes as Russia continued its campaign of attacks on Kyiv's civilian infrastructure.
