Goldenvoice's inaugural Ocean Way Festival, which was set to debut on the beach in Santa Monica Sept. 26-27 with headliners The Killers, Olivia Dean and Jack White, has been called off entirely. Organizers and city officials said storm surf and runoff from recent hurricane-level forces (linked to Hurricane Marie) caused significant beach erosion, making the site unsafe for the two-day event. Refund details were released for ticket holders, and organizers indicated the event is being pushed rather than permanently scrapped, with hopes to return in a future year.
