Ukrainian forces continued a campaign of long-range strikes against military and industrial targets across Russia. OSINT analysts reported Ukraine likely struck the Tatarstan, flagship of Russia's Caspian Flotilla, in Kaspiysk, while drones also hit a chemical plant in Perm Krai. President Zelenskyy subsequently confirmed strikes on chemical plants in Perm and Samara, as well as military targets in Taganrog, and said Ukrainian forces destroyed a Su-33 fighter jet and two Mi-8 helicopters. The expanded target list—spanning naval, chemical, and aviation assets deep inside Russia—illustrates the growing reach and ambition of Ukraine's long-range strike campaign, which aims to degrade Russian military capacity and economic infrastructure far from the front lines.
