Anthropic has locked down $517 billion worth of compute capacity commitments as it prepares for a potential initial public offering, according to a new report. Despite the enormous scale of the commitment, the report suggests it may still fall short of the company's long-term computing needs as it races to keep pace with rivals in large-scale AI model training.
