Nazira Haji Zada, an Afghan woman and lawful permanent resident of the United States, was deported to Afghanistan in the first-ever case brought under the Alien Terrorist Removal Court. She had never been charged with a crime but conceded to being an 'alien terrorist' due to family links to terrorism.
