A massive worldwide survey of physicists found little consensus on some of the universe's biggest mysteries, with no majority backing the standard cosmological model, a leading dark matter explanation, or any single theory of quantum gravity. Notably, 68% of respondents said the Big Bang does not necessarily represent the beginning of time. Researchers say the divided results illustrate how unsettled fundamental physics remains despite decades of research.
