Creative Assembly announced a remaster of Total War: Shogun 2, widely regarded as one of the best entries in the strategy series, adding 50 newly playable factions, modernized visuals, and a full Japanese voiceover track. The remaster, dubbed Shogun 2 Complete Edition, is set to arrive on October 13. The announcement expands the scope of the original 2011 title considerably, giving strategy fans a substantially reworked version of a fan-favorite entry ahead of its release next month.
