Russia launched roughly 200 Shahed and Gerbera attack drones along with Parodiya decoy UAVs at Ukraine overnight into September 15, with Ukrainian air defenses reportedly destroying 187 of them. Despite the high interception rate, a drone attack on Kyiv killed one person and struck the Sviatoshynskyi district, sparking fires and scattering debris across several districts of the capital. Ukrainska Pravda reported two people were injured and cars set ablaze in Kyiv's Sviatoshynskyi district from the strikes, while separately seven infrastructure facilities in surrounding Kyiv Oblast were damaged in Russian attacks over the same 24-hour period, underscoring the scale of the overnight barrage.
