The Israeli military said strikes in Gaza killed Nael Abu Obeid, described as a 'central figure' in Hamas who headed its Rafah Brigade and operations division, along with other terror commanders including an Islamic Jihad member who took part in the October 7, 2023 invasion of Israel.
