Russian forces attacked seven infrastructure facilities in Kyiv Oblast over a 24-hour period, causing damage across the region as part of Russia's continued campaign against Ukrainian infrastructure. Overnight into September 16, Russian jet-propelled drones struck Kyiv itself, sparking fires and damaging multiple sites across the capital. Among the sites hit was a warehouse storing props from President Volodymyr Zelensky's former comedy studio, Kvartal 95, which was destroyed in the strike, though the studio said all scheduled concerts would go ahead. A separate warehouse belonging to the Olena Zelenska Foundation was also completely destroyed, with the fire consuming humanitarian aid including generators, laptops and medical equipment intended for distribution.
