PAGASA reported monitoring a tropical depression located roughly 2,675 kilometers outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, saying it is unlikely to make landfall or directly affect the country. Separately, Tropical Storm Peilou was tracked moving farther away from the Philippines, also posing little risk to local weather, as both systems remained outside the areas of immediate concern for Filipino forecasters.
