Lebanon returned 37 pharaonic-era artefacts that had been smuggled out of Egypt six years ago, in a handover marking cooperation between the two countries on cultural heritage protection. The repatriation follows years of joint investigative efforts to trace and recover the stolen antiquities, part of broader regional efforts to combat trafficking in cultural artefacts.
