Spotify appears to be teasing a marketing partnership with Rockstar Games tied to Grand Theft Auto VI, following a pattern of major streaming and consumer brands aligning themselves with the highly anticipated game ahead of its release. The move adds to a growing wave of cross-promotional interest surrounding GTA 6 as it approaches its November launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Separately, new comments have shed light on Rockstar's post-launch plans. Twitch CEO Dan Clancy said in an interview with Bloomberg that GTA 6's expected online multiplayer component could arrive sometime in 2027, noting that Twitch has spent considerable time discussing Rockstar's plans given the benefits a hit multiplayer mode could bring to the streaming platform. Meanwhile, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick told shareholders that PC is becoming an increasingly important platform for the company, though GTA 6 will not launch on PC at release, continuing the series' pattern of delayed PC ports.
