Paleontologists identified a newly described 240-million-year-old species, Dinodontosaurus isiyavamanda, from Tanzania belonging to a group previously known only in South America. The find links fossil deposits across continents and suggests Tanzania's supposed oldest dinosaur fossils may actually be millions of years younger than previously believed.
