Ukraine's Defence Ministry said Ukrainian drones have struck more than 3,000 Russian unmanned ground vehicles since January, including a monthly record of 511 destroyed in August. The figures highlight the growing role of ground robotics on both sides of the front line and Ukraine's efforts to counter them. The disclosure is part of Ukraine's ongoing public accounting of battlefield successes against Russian equipment, as both militaries increasingly deploy unmanned systems for logistics, assault and reconnaissance roles along the front.
