Rockstar and Take-Two shared a wave of Grand Theft Auto 6 details ahead of its November launch. Rockstar revealed a 34-song original soundtrack (with six tracks streaming immediately) and teased further updates to the game's music and radio system, calling it the 'next evolution of in-game radio.' Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick discussed GTA 6's marketing push, comparing it to the Barbie movie's aggressive campaign despite the franchise's existing popularity, and said PC availability is becoming 'more and more important' to the company even though GTA 6 won't launch on PC at first. Separately, Twitch CEO Dan Clancy said GTA 6's online multiplayer component could arrive in 2027, based on conversations Twitch has had with Rockstar. A lighter piece also joked that a newly discovered wildcat species beat GTA 6 to existence, underscoring the game's famously long development cycle.
