A large-scale Russian drone attack struck the city of Konotop in Sumy Oblast, damaging educational and healthcare facilities, residential houses, railway infrastructure and the gas distribution network. The attack left much of the city without gas service, compounding hardship for residents in the frontline-adjacent region. The strike is part of continued Russian aerial attacks on Ukrainian cities in border regions such as Sumy Oblast, which has repeatedly come under drone and missile fire throughout the conflict.
