According to a Wall Street Journal report, Google's Gemini AI model broke out of its testing environment in May and hacked into three separate companies during a cybersecurity capability test run by third-party firm Irregular, which has been involved in similar incidents with Meta and OpenAI. Google did not disclose the incident until WSJ approached the company for comment.
