Iran's Supreme National Security Council secretary Mohsen Rezaei announced seven conditions Tehran has given for any negotiations to end its war with the United States, including an end to hostilities on all fronts, unfreezing of Iranian funds, and lifting of the US naval blockade. Iran said these conditions were conveyed to Washington via mediator Qatar and that Tehran is awaiting a response from President Trump. Turkey's foreign minister Hakan Fidan said Ankara and other countries have submitted new proposals to both the US and Iran to conclude negotiations, while acknowledging deep mistrust between the parties. Amid these efforts, Iranian officials also engaged regional partners: Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi called for dialogue rather than foreign military presence in the Middle East, and Iran said it is working to restore the 'Islamabad agreement.' Pakistan's interior minister was set to visit Tehran, though Iran said no US mediation message was expected during that trip, while Iran and Pakistan's foreign ministers separately discussed regional stability and safe shipping routes.
