Russian forces struck the city of Sumy and surrounding areas with guided aerial bombs and drone-dropped munitions over September 18-19, hitting a multistory apartment building and killing at least two city council employees among the dead. The overall toll from the Sumy attacks rose to at least nine injured, including two children, with a separate drone-dropped munition killing a man in the Bilopillia hromada.
