Russia launched a large overnight attack using Zircon anti-ship missiles and 174 drones, striking at least 15 locations across Ukraine; Ukrainian air defense reportedly downed 141 aerial targets. Strikes caused casualties and damage in Kyiv Oblast, Dnipro, Kherson Oblast, Zaporizhzhia, the Nikopol district, Khmelnytskyi Oblast, and Balakliia in Kharkiv Oblast, while a large-scale attack on Odesa Oblast's energy infrastructure left over 178,000 households without power. In total, Russian attacks killed eight civilians and injured more than 30 across Kharkiv, Donetsk and Kherson oblasts in a single day, and a historic 90-year-old horse farm in Kharkiv Oblast was hit twice in a week. The barrage also had regional security repercussions: Czech Gripen jets flew to Poland to monitor NATO airspace after drones were spotted over western Ukraine during the attack.
