The National Hurricane Center's Eastern Pacific outlook reported no active tropical cyclones as of September 20, but flagged a broad area of low pressure (EP99) several hundred miles south-southwest of Mexico's Pacific coast. Showers and thunderstorms associated with the system remain disorganized, but environmental conditions are considered conducive for development into a tropical depression in the coming days.
