A United Nations report published September 18 documented more than 1,000 cases of conflict-related sexual violence in Russia's war against Ukraine, based on interviews from the start of the full-scale invasion through July 31, 2026. The UN attributed 89% of cases to Russian forces, with most victims found to be men.
