MTV announced Taylor Swift will receive the inaugural Artist Director Honors at the 2026 VMAs, a new award celebrating artists with a sustained, influential directorial body of work. Swift has previously won Best Direction four times. The honor recognizes her creative contributions behind the camera in addition to her music career.
