Researchers created a needle-thin brain implant capable of recording neural activity, delivering drugs, and stimulating multiple brain regions using a single flexible fiber. Successful tests in mice suggest the device could offer a more precise and less invasive tool for brain research and eventually treat neurological disorders such as epilepsy.
