The Financial Times reported that Russian strikes have knocked out three of Ukraine's largest steel plants, halting operations at facilities that together produced about 90% of the country's steel and putting the entire industry at risk. Separately, a Russian strike seriously damaged the main production and warehouse facilities of Vents, a major Ukrainian ventilation equipment manufacturer that exports to over 120 countries. These attacks highlight how Russia's continued strikes on industrial and manufacturing targets are compounding economic damage to Ukraine well beyond the energy sector.
