The United Nations published a report on September 18 documenting more than 1,000 cases of conflict-related sexual violence during Russia's war in Ukraine, based on interviews conducted from the start of the full-scale invasion through July 2026. The report attributes 89% of documented cases to Russian forces, and notes that most victims are men.
