Israeli strikes killed at least three Palestinians in Gaza City on Tuesday, including one person killed and three wounded near al-Nafaq Street and two others killed near Muscat School in the al-Tuffah neighborhood, according to Wafa news agency. Separately, rescuers said a war-damaged six-storey residential building in Gaza City collapsed, killing 21 people including eight children; the building, previously hit by an Israeli strike last year, had reportedly been sheltering some 10 displaced families. The incidents add to the mounting civilian death toll in Gaza City and come amid continued Israeli military activity in the area despite an ostensible ceasefire framework, drawing renewed international criticism of Israel's conduct in the enclave.
