Physicists analyzing Large Hadron Collider data found no evidence that the collider has produced microscopic quantum black holes, narrowing the possible parameter space where such exotic objects could exist. The hypothetical black holes would form only if extra spatial dimensions make gravity far stronger at tiny scales than currently observed. The null result further constrains theories of quantum gravity and extra dimensions, though it does not rule out their existence at higher energies than the LHC can reach.
